DIRECTIONS TO HOPE SPRINGS RETREAT CENTER
FROM CINCINNATI AIRPORT
From the airport, take 275E, a right turn off the road leading out of the
airport. This is the belt-line around Cincinnati. You'll be on this for 20-30
minutes before coming to the exit for 32E toward Batavia. Take this exit and
drive for about one hour. At the intersection of 41 and 32, there is a traffic
light, go one mile more on 32E to Steam Furnace Rd. When you come to Steam
Furnace Road, turn right. Go 1.7 miles on Steam Furnace Road. Turn left onto
Mineral Springs Road and go 5 miles. This road twists and turns. As you're
approaching the 5-mile mark, you'll be going up a little mountain road. At the
top the road angles right and you'll go by a farm on your left. Then you'll come
to a gravel road that goes off to the right - Lucas (do not take this road). At
this point you'll see a building on your left. This is Al's shop. Stay on
Mineral Springs and go to the next driveway on your left. Go in and go to the
end of the driveway. The Center building is on the left and Suzanne's office is
the second cabin on the right. The address is 4988 Mineral Springs Road. Phone
is 937-587-2602. Most cell phones don't work once you get close.
FROM COLUMBUS
From the belt-line around Columbus, 270, take 270S to 23 South. Take 23
South toward Portsmouth. Stay on 23 south until you come to 104 (This will be in
Waverly, a right turn off from 23). Take 104 to 32 West. Turn right onto 32 and
go west about 24 miles. When you come to Steam Furnace Road, turn left. Go 1.7
miles on Steam Furnace Road. Turn left onto Mineral Springs Road and go 5 miles.

FROM LEXINGTON
Take Hwy 68 north from Lexington to Maysville. Take the bridge from
Maysville, KY to Aberdeen, OH; turn left onto Hwy 52 and right onto 41. Take 41
north through West Union and stay on 41 for about 16 miles. Get into the right
lane and turn right onto 781. Stay on 781 until you come to a "T" in the road.
781 will go right, you need to turn left. Take a right onto Mineral Springs Road
(after Fristoe Lane). This road twists and turns. As you're approaching the
5-mile mark, you'll be going up a little mountain road. At the top the road
angles right and you'll go by a farm on your left. Then you'll come to a gravel
road that goes off to the right - Lucas (do not take this road). At this point
you'll see a building on your left. This is Al's woodworking shop. Stay on
Mineral Springs and go to the next driveway on your left. Go in and go to the
end of the driveway. The Center building is on the left and Suzanne's office is
